MONDAY, JUNE 25 - 6:00PM
New York based actor/director/writer Steven Tylor O'Connor (who was raised in the KC area) returns with a just-completed and hilariously insightful new comedy, WELCOME TO NEW YORK. And, Lexington, MO native Nick Corporon is back to share his 2011 love story, EMPIRE, and offer a hometown preview of his latest short, BARBIE BOY."
In EMPIRE, Rick and Sage evaluate their commitment to one another when one of them decides to join the armed service.
BARBIE BOY is a coming of age tale of Bobby, a playful, imaginative 7-year-old boy whose favorite toy is the classic "Barbie" doll. After his father makes an off-hand comment about how dolls are for girls, Bobby ultimately must choose between being what people think he should be or being the person he knows he is.

WELCOME TO NEW YORK is about unique first experiences in New York City. Starring Sherry Vine as Dr. Kitty Rosenblatt, the unorthodox yet wildly successful therapist the leads go to in order to get adjusted to life in the big apple. Among the film's co-stars are Kansas City native Ashleigh Murray, Sean Paul Lockhart (a/k/a Brent Corrigan) and Casper Andreas (director/star of GOING DOWN IN LA-LA LAND)
